Criminal defense attorney and immigration lawyer in Berlin.
After completing my bachelor’s degree in political science in Freiburg and the U.S., I entered law school at Humboldt University in Berlin. During law school, I particularly focused on Public International Law as well as the Law of the European Union. During my studies, I have already worked as a legal advisor on asylum and residence law pro bono for many years. As a member of the student’s association “Refugee Law Clinic Berlin” I could continuously educate myself in immigration law.
I completed my legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal. Focusing on criminal law, I worked for various experienced criminal defense attorneys in Berlin.
Before becoming a lawyer, I worked for non-governmental organizations—at the German Children’s Fund and as a research assistant at the German Institute for Human Rights. During this time, I worked as a policy advisor and researcher on topics such as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, police and racism as well as human rights education.
I am a member of “Republikanischer Anwältinnen- und Anwälteverein“ and the Refugee Law Clinic Berlin e.V.
